How To Get Ripped Abs
The six pack has long been heralded as the holy grail of fitness. It's the sign that
you have finally arrived in your physique.
There's a lot of information out there about
how to get a six pack , but how do you get ripped abs?
My definition of ripped abs isn't just a nice six pack you see
on those celebrities when they take their shirts off. If that's
what you're looking for, then this article isn't for you.
Ripped abs in my book are washboard abs. The kind that
make a "thump thump" sound when that hot girl runs her
hands over your abs quickly. I'm talking popping hills and
valleys that stand out - just enough though, not freakish
looking.
You want big arms.
You want a broad shoulders.
You want a popping chest.
So here's how to get ripped abs.
There are two things you need for great abs.
1. Low body fat percentage
2. Great muscle development
Duh, no big surprise there.
The methods vary on how to get either of these. So I'll give you my best advice for both.
There are two ways to get to low body fat percentage. Either burn the fat off or build
muscle without fat, thus your overall percentage will decrease since it's a ratio.
Or, you can do both at the same time, which isn't impossible, despite what the "guru's"
tell you. I do it all the time.
But let's focus on one at a time here to keep things simple. Since most people need to lose
fat, I'll go with that.
A great fat burning program will burn off 2lbs a week of fat while keeping or
even growing new muscle. You can't just run the fat off because you'll run the muscle
off as well. You need the muscle to burn fat and in order to keep the muscle, you need to
LIFT WEIGHTS. My fat burning exercises has some great weight training workouts to
build muscle and burn the fat.
That leads into the second part of the equation which is to have good muscle development.
Your regular old sit-ups and crunches won't cut it when it comes to ripped abs. Nor will
your old high school gym routine.
You need dynamic resistance training to really train all facets of the abdominal muscles and
get them to Grow, so the Pop out.

And that's it. So for a summary, here's how to get ripped abs in 3 steps.
1. Eat a caloric deficit
2. Lift weights to keep the muscle while the fat melts away
3. Incorporate dynamic resistance ab training to develop your abs
Until next time,
Stay Ripped.
